Alicia Herrera

Alicia Herrera is a self-taught poet and singer-songwriter from Jaén. He began to play the guitar at the age of 17 with a group of friends, and immediately began to combine his poems with music, thus giving rise to his first compositions.


Since 2016 he has begun to make his way in the local and provincial scene, and, very soon, also in other places, having participated in the III Alcázar de San Juan Poetry Contest (2017), at the Granada Book Fair (2018) , and in the events of Women's Day organized by the Provincial Council of Jaén in 2019. That same year she was also part of the European Heritage Days together with the poetic group Oliversando, to which are added many meetings, book presentations and contests in which guitar in hand has also participated.


On the radio show Desde Jayyan she was described as "a very sensitive singer-songwriter."

Rocio Guzman

Rocío Guzmán is a performer and singer rooted since childhood in flamenco art and traditional Andalusian song. Her study of classical texts in her training as a Graduate in Philosophy, together with the family artistic influence, prompted her to begin her studies in contemporary dance and physical theater, later she traveled to Paris to study singing and performative voice with Panthéâtre and Roy Hart Center ( Malérargues) where she confirms her performance and singing vocation.

Back in Spain, she works as a director of several her own scenic creations, a mixture of movement and voice pieces, studies and delves into languages such as Sephardic music, Arabic and flamenco influence, music with Latin American roots, jazz, free improvisation, video-creation and composition of stage music for dance. His training and experience have led him to take part in national and international voice and dance projects.

In 2008 he began his solo career with performative and musical research projects such as “Claroscuro” (2008) and created his own company Theodora creating “La Juventud” (2012). In 2015 she presented an essential work in her career “Surrender” a hybrid of concert performance that will be the beginning of her career as a composer and vocal creator. In 2019 he debuted with his first solo album "Sonada".

He has collaborated with artists such as Califato 3/4 for his album "Puerta de la Cânne" (2019), the guitarist José Torres Vicente with the project "La Virtud en el aire" (2018), the dancer also from Jaén Vanesa Aibar in his piece "Sierpe" has collaborated in projects created by Pedro G. Romero together with Proyecto Lorca, Alfredo Lagos and Tomás de Perrate, with the choreographer Meg Stuart, among others.

Since 2012 he has been working as a teacher at the university level in professional art masters and in training for professionals in the arts.

In 2019 she has been invited to the Body and Experiment symposium thanks to the AMEE (Spanish Electronic Music Association) at the Medialab Prado and internationally at the TANZKONGRESS 2019 directed by the choreographer Meg Stuart as a guest artist from Spain to share knowledge and as a performer.

Also throughout this year she has been invited by the magazine “Cuarto Creciente” to write about her vision of art in her first article “Non-exact artistic variations”.
