Joaquín Roldán and Sandra Pinola: The use of photography in educational research: The photographic series

In this article we present some of the uses that photographic series, in their different forms and functions, can offer to educational research based on visual arts. Starting from the typologies described by previous studies and introducing classic examples of investigations that have used series of images together with the work of contemporary artists, we try to base their use in educational research.
