The sixteen artistic, educational and research projects that are presented in this a / r / tographic proposal are part of the book "Learning to teach visual arts: An a / r / tographic approach". In them the methods and techniques of inquiry and exploration typical of Image-Based Research (IBI), Artistic Teaching Methodologies (MAE), and Educational Research based on Visual Arts (IEBAV) are used. Each of the topics discussed evokes training and learning experiences in visual arts that open the classroom space to diverse realities and contexts: the school institution, museums and contemporary art centers, social space and public intervention, and even the own family. This communication presents the topics and approaches worked in order to inspire similar proposals.
